Im 21, I lost my grandmother of 69 years on New Years Eve 2009 so about a month now shes been gone. It is still very hard to this day and now i have pushed all my good friends away. What do you guys think about this and why I did them?

I think that you probably did that because you don't know what to say to them and what they will say to you in return. As hard as it is it's pretty normal. They will come back if you try...they just will not know what to say to you but you have to try it.

I lost my grandma/grandpa aka mom/dad about 8 months ago and some days are still hard. I still find myself pushing people away at times because I feel like it is easier to just deal with things on my own. I talk with a counsler now about once a month and I belive that helps. I think that even if you don't want to talk with friends about the situation you should talk with someone. Just remember your friends are there and even though they might not know what to say sometimes just hanging out with people can make you feel better.
